Without the co-operation of the parents the school authorities cannot carry out their responsibilities satisfactorily.
The parents are requested to keep in constant touch with the school authorities concerning the progress of their children. Parents are particularly requested to call for a checkup of the Progress Report of their children to avoid painful surprises at the end of the year.
Parents may see the Principal any day from 9:30 a.m. to 11-00 a.m. except Saturday and Sunday. Interviews at any other time may be had by appointment. On the Second Saturdays of every month, Teachers may be met any time during class hours to discuss the progress of their children. Parents are strictly forbidden to go to the classes on any other day of the month. Parents are requested to send their children to school in time, clean and tidy in their proper uniform.
- (a) Pupil must attend school regularly. No leave of absence shall be granted except for serious motives.
(b) In case of unforeseen circumstances, the parent must inform the Principal about the absence of the child and Leave letters should be submitted in the office.
(c) Continued absence without a leave letter for 15days shall be considered equivalent to the withdrawal of a pupil from school and the name shall be struck off the rolls.
(d) Children absent on the opening and closing days of a term will be punished.
(e) Parents should not request their children to leave school before class is over except in case of urgent necessity. In which case a written request should be made by the parent. As far case a written request should be made by the parent. As far as possible please do not take children for outings, pilgrimages, marriages, parties etc., during school days. Please try and fix these events during holidays. If a pupil is absent, during a test or examination, a retest or re-examination will not be given.
2. Progress Report showing the application of the students and their results will be sent to the parents after every examination and unit test. Parents or guardians are requested to examine the progress reports carefully and see that their children make a special effort to study those subjects in which they are weak.
3. The school diary is a record concerning the student. Therefore every pupil should take special care of the school diary and bring it to the class daily. If anyone losses it, she should buy another. Any directive made in the diary must be abided by and the parents are requested to sign any remarks made in the diary.
4. Pupils are not allowed to wear jewellery. The school is not re sponsible for the loss of jewellery or money or other articles kept by the children.
5. No books, periodicals or newspapers should be brought into the school premises without the Principal’s permission.
6. Students are expected to make good the damage to furniture, library books and other apparatus of the school.
7. They should keep their books clean, neatly covered and properly marked. Scribbling on books, desks, walls etc., is strictly forbidden.
8. Every pupil is expected to be responsible for their books and other belongings.
9. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of home work, disobedience and disrespect towards elders and members of the staff or bad moral influence, justify dismissal. The school authorities reserve the right to refuse admission or to dismiss a pupil without assigning any reason.
